Scope: Remodel eight painted cinderblock-walled, circa 1969, restrooms to bring them in to the 21st century. This included 22 toilets with motion flush valves, 16 sinks, 16 faucets, 29 2’x4′ light fixtures, 1900 sq. feet of tile, and 250 sheets of drywall.
Description: Successfully completing eight commercial restroom remodels at Stanley in a 5 week timeframe. We started with painted cinderblock 1960s industrial restrooms, and rocketed them into the 21st century.
At our first meeting, they shared the fact that other competing contractors were pushing them into installing FRP to cover up the painted cinderblock walls. We immediately discouraged this idea in favor of firring out the walls and installing drywall. This produced a more modern look, and a much warmer environment.
With as many as twelve tradesmen at a time working two shifts, including Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day, we completed this project on schedule.
We can’t express our appreciation and pride in all of our people who helped to accomplish this. Ernie, Mary Sue and Ralph, and all the great people at Stanley who teamed up with Bathroom Pros Commercial to make this a smashing success!
